Physical therapy software provider PhysioRoadmap becomes part of Health Cloud Initiative
Amsterdam, December 12, 2022 - Software provider Health Cloud Initiative (HCI) has launched the software label PhysioRoadmap and thereby further expanded its services for paramedical care. With the acquisition of the software label for professional physical therapy practices, HCI quadruples its market share within the paramedical market. After the acquisition, more than 13,000 healthcare providers work with Health Cloud Initiative products on a daily basis. The total organization will have revenues of approximately 10 million euros after the acquisition.
HCI serves a wide range of disciplines and is now the market leader in the independent mental health and paramedical fields such as speech therapy. Health Cloud Initiative's first milestone next year is to unburden 20,000 healthcare providers by minimizing administrative operations. The group wants to accelerate the creation of this targeted scale through a buy-and-build strategy. The FysioRoadmap acquisition follows the earlier acquisitions of Incura, CRS GGZ software and the client portfolios of two software companies.
Thanks in part to the acquisition of FysioRoadmap, HCI is now also a significant player in physical therapy. FysioRoadmap from Haarlem was founded in 1999 by Frank Duijff. FysioRoadmap originated from the physiotherapy practice for and by physiotherapists. The company unburdens practices in their daily practice. The Electronic Patient Dossier (EPD) is characterized by a pragmatic and recognizable work process. The diary is intuitive to use and automated claim processes help prevent incomplete claims and reduce return information.
